Yesterday was Jennifer's final day of her job. The last thing she did was drop off her laptop and printer. As she exited the building, the song playing over the speaker system was Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror. She's always said that Jackson was a kind of genius. For his song about changing oneself (as part of larger change) to be playing at that precise moment...well, it was a very touching call I received when she got to her car.
She leaves in June for a month of training in Washington DC, then will go straight to Lima. We still don't know where we will be living since it depends somewhat on where we send Carter to school. That decision is still being debated.
